Turkey Burger with Lettuce Bun & Guacamole
A flavorful, protein-packed burger that skips the bun and keeps it fresh with whole ingredients and zesty flavor.
Ingredients (Makes 4 Servings):
For the Turkey Patties:

1 lb ground turkey (93% lean)

2 green onions, finely sliced

½ cup red bell pepper, finely chopped

2 tbsp cilantro, chopped

4 tsp crushed garlic
-
½ tsp salt

Juice of ½ lime

1 tsp cumin powder
-
1 tsp onion powder
For Serving:

Lettuce leaves (romaine or butter lettuce) for wrapping

Homemade guacamole (avocado mashed with lime, garlic, and salt)

Optional: grilled onions or additional veggies
Instructions:

Mix the Patties:
In a large bowl, combine all turkey patty ingredients. Mix until evenly distributed, being careful not to overwork the meat. -
Form the Patties:
Shape into 4 even-sized patties. -
Grill:
Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 5–6 minutes per side or until fully cooked (internal temp 165°F). -
Serve:
Wrap each patty in lettuce leaves. Top with a generous scoop of homemade guacamole and optional grilled onion.
